导出博客文章EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern says it will play home games during the 2017-18 season at Allstate Arena in Rosemont while its on-campus arena undergoes a $110 million renovation.Northwestern needs a temporary home because of a major overhaul to Welsh-Ryan Arena that is scheduled to begin next spring and be completed in the fall of 2018. The school plans to replace existing wooden bleachers with chair-back seats, update audio and video systems, add premium seating and widen concourses.While the 63-year-old arena gets a face-lift, the Wildcats will play about 15 miles from campus. Allstate Arena is the longtime home of DePaul mens basketball, which is scheduled to move to a new arena in Chicago in 2017.
