COLUMBIA, Mo. -- No. 16 Georgias visit to Missouri features two first-year coaches making their Southeastern Conference debuts.Georgias Kirby Smart, who was a defensive back for the Bulldogs from 1995-98, and Missouris Barry Odom, who played linebacker for the Tigers from 1996-99, are eager to get their first conference win at the helm of their alma mater.I think anytime that you have an opportunity to open at your place thats great for our fan base and great for our kids, Odom said. But also, weve got to get to the point where it doesnt matter who, where or when youre playing that we focus on us and prepare the right way and get ready to go play.A year after finishing last in the conference in passing offense, the Tigers (1-1) lead the SEC in total passing with 759 yards. Quarterback Drew Lock tied a school record with five touchdown passes in last weeks 61-21 win against Eastern Michigan, and fell 30 yards shy of the school record for passing yards with 450.Smart said the Bulldogs (2-0) are focusing on the tempo of the Missouri offense and the speed of the defense.Weve got a great challenge playing a well-coached, very potent offense and a very disruptive defense, Smart said. They seem to be bigger than theyve been in the past, especially inside, and theyve got a really talented group, so its always a challenge when you go to play these guys because theyve athletic enough and disruptive enough to cause a lot of problems.Georgia is coming off a surprisingly close 26-24 win over Nicholls, but the Bulldogs will be a step up for the Tigers from Eastern Michigan. Here are some things to watch for Saturday:FAMILIAR TERRITORYGeorgia running back Nick Chubb won SEC freshman of the year in 2014 after rushing for 1,547 yards and 14 touchdowns. His first collegiate start came in Georgias 34-0 shutout of Missouri at Faurot Field on Oct. 11, 2014, when he rushed 38 times for 143 yards and a touchdown. Todd Gurley had been suspended the previous week for NCAA rules violations, making way for Chubb to start the remaining eight games of the season.QUARTERBACK QUESTIONSThrough two games, Georgia has used a two-quarterback system, with senior Greyson Lambert and freshman Jacob Eason splitting time. Lambert, who threw for 1,959 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions last year, made his 13th start as a Bulldog in a season-opening victory against then North Carolina in Atlanta. He appeared in the first three series against the Tar Heels, completing 5 of 8 pass attempts for 54 yards in a 33-24 win. Eason played the majority of the second half, accounting for the Bulldogs only passing touchdown, a 17-yard connection with wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie. He is 19 of 32 with two touchdowns and an interception on the season.I feel a sense of urgency to get the best guy on the field to give us an opportunity to win each game, Smart said. So if that means getting one guy ready, then thats what it would be. But right now, were not in a position to do that. Right now, were in a position where weve got two quarterbacks that are both developing, both a part of the game plan, and we want to continue to do that.CONTAINING CHUBBMissouris defensive front has been somewhat absent in the first two games. After tying for sixth nationally in tackles for loss in 2015, Missouris defense has 10 tackles for loss and only one sack, tied for last in the conference. Linebacker Michael Scherer has 13 tackles, including 1 1/2 for loss, and played against Chubb in 2014.Hes very good, Scherer said of Chubb. I think, kind of the way hes built, hes kind of short and stocky and very wide, its just tough to bring him down. Itll take multiple guys to bring him down. Youve got to tackle him low.
Mario Lemieux Jersey . President of baseball operations Larry Beinfest was fired Friday after 12 years with the Marlins. The move came as the team neared the end of its third consecutive last-place season in the NL East.
Paul Martin Jersey . Vettel, who has already clinched his fourth straight F1 title, enters the finale with a chance to equal Michael Schumachers 13 victories in a year and match the record of nine consecutive wins by Alberto Ascari in the 1952 and 1953 seasons.
http://www.penguinsauthenticofficial.com/jake-guentzel-jersey/ . Soukalova missed only one target and completed the 15-kilometre course in 40 minutes, 32.6 seconds for both victories in this seasons individual discipline. Darya Domracheva of Belarus was second, 34.
Ron Francis Jersey . NBA officials ruled the court unplayable in the Bucks final exhibition game on Oct. 25 because players were slipping, and the game was cancelled midway through the first period.
Justin Schultz Jersey . Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek defeated Nenad Zimonjic and Ilija Bozoljac 6-2, 6-4, 7-6 (4) on the indoor hard-court at Belgrade Arena. The victory improved the Czech pairs impressive cup doubles record to 14-1.Two games were blowouts and two games were competitive as eight teams began the quest for the 101st Grey Cup ring. In the West, how amazingly impressive was Calgary beating BC 44-32? And how dominant was Saskatchewan rollong over Edmonton 39-18. For Calgary, two individual players and one group of players stood out all game for me. Quarterback Drew Tate separated himself from both Kevin Glenn and Bo Levi Mitchell. Thats significant because if Tate had not performed well, then the conversation would started about how he never will. But he did, so that conversation is over (for a few weeks anyway). The second individual player that was exceptional to me was Charleston Hughes at defensive end. Sometimes a player has a good game because the competition is average at best but much of Hughes success was against Javon 0lafioye at right tackle. Make no mistake, #63 for BC is one of the best and Hughes make him look average. The group of players that were outstanding was the offensive line. Yes, credit Jon Cornish as he separated himself from Andrew Harris but Calgary started a rookie centre in Brett Jones from Regina and Dan Federkeil at right tackle, who had been out of football for three years. Both were excellent. With Saskatchewan, the opening two drives were touchdowns. Now I know it is early but you have to think that George Cortez did a phenomenal job of preparation as the Riders were ready and Edmonton was not. John Chick will be a presence all year and linebacker Craig Butler looked like he was in the zone, so to speak..dddddddddddd Now the negative is, and I am speaking for myself but Dwight Anderson and his temper tantrums are getting old. I understand the emotion of football at a high level but I also understand losing control is embarrassing to not only the player, but the organization, too. Yet , the Riders were exceptional. Earlier in the week, the Montreal-Winnipeg game was taken over by the Alouettes in the fourth quarter. Not sure what conclusions to make about Winnipeg yet but Montreal did control the game defensively, allowing only 296 yards. Favorite moment was Jade Etienne, who had only one catch last year had three in this game, one with an excellent run after catch. Nothing is more important in football than making a contribution as that is how you stay on the team and Etienne did. Finally, Toronto beat Hamilton but maybe not the way many expected. Henry Burris to Andy Fantuz stole the show and credit Kent Austin for coaching Burris into one of his best games ever. This was a Grey Cup team being taken to the last play by a rebuilding team that did not make the playoffs. Dont get me wrong, Toronto won and deserved to win and were well prepared. A six-play, 83-yard touchdown drive to open the game, that is well prepared. But if, I know it is a big if, Hamilton improves defensively, they could be competitive with anybody. Defensive coordinator 0rlondo Steinauer will figure it out; too intelligent and too good of a football background not to. Talk next week with more thoughts, observations and maybe a conclusion. ' ' '
