Braves score a walk-off win."Ray-Patrick Didder scored the
winning run on a fielding error by Phil Gosselin in the bottom of the ninth to
give the Atlanta Braves a 5-4 come-from-behind win over the Philadelphia
Phillies. Josh Donaldson and Kevin Gausman made their spring debuts for Atlanta.
Donaldson popped up to second in his first at bat and walked in second. He made
a nice play snagging a line drive in the first inning that saved a run. Gausman
was a bit rusty allowing four hits and three runs in 1 1/3 innings. The Phillies
plated a pair of runs in the first against Gausman on a sacrifice fly by Nick
Williams and an RBI single by Sean Rodriguez. They extended the lead to 3-0 in
the second on run-scoring single by Aaron Altherr. Andrew Knapp made it 4-0 in
the fifth with a home run off of Max Fried in the fifth. The Braves began their
comeback in the bottom half of the fifth when Cristian Pache connected on his
first home run of the spring to cut the deficit to 4-2. Pache finished 1-for-3
in the game and is hitting .412 on the spring. Raffy Lopez doubled home Ryan
LaMarre in the sixth to make it 4-3 and Didder homered in the seventh to tie the
game. Pedro Florimon singled to lead off the ninth but was erased on a grounder
by Didder who beat the throw at first. Didder stole second as Pache struck out
before Austin Riley’s grounder got through Gosselin to give the Braves the win.
Fried allowed two hits and one run and struck out four over 3 2/3 innings. Sam
