Shaquille ONeal made an appearance at the Providence Friars Late Night Madness,
an annual event that signifies the beginning of the college basketball season.
This wasnt just any appearance, though. ONeal entertained throngs of students in
attendance by serving as DJ for Saturday evenings festivities.The four-time NBA
champion arrived early to set up sound equipment on stage before adopting the
moniker DJ Diesel and mixing an array of 90s and early-2000s hip-hop, including
songs from The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg and DMX. This era of music coincided
with ONeals prime as an NBA player.ONeal earned 15 All-Star Game selections
throughout his career with the Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat,
Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics. He was the NBA Rookie of
the Year in 1993 after playing collegiately for the LSU Tigers. One of the most
dominant centers in league history, ONeal ended his 19-year career in 2011 with
averages of 23.7 points per game and 10.9 rebounds per game on 58.2 percent
shooting from the field.ESPNs Doris Burke was also on hand to emcee Late Night
Madness. The 1987 graduate of Providence played four years on the womens
basketball team, setting a school record for assists during her tenure. She

maintained his innocence from the start and could not be happier to have his

allowed to continue classes at UCLA and will graduate next year, the attorney

arrested a year after another student reported that she became drunk at a party
in October 2014, blacked out and woke up in her nearby apartment with Searl on
top of her taking her clothes off, according to a DAs office charge evaluation
worksheet.ddddddddddddThe woman claimed that she blacked out a total of three
times but remembered part of a sexual encounter and later found three used
condoms, according to the report.Searls DNA was found on the condoms, the report
said, but a lengthy investigation failed to find evidence that the woman was too
drunk to consent to sex. There was also some evidence indicating that she led
Searl to her apartment, the report said.Prosecutors also rejected charges
involving a woman who claimed that Searl sexually assaulted her after she became
intoxicated at a party in February 2014.The report said the woman failed to
report the alleged attack for nearly a year and eight months, until she heard
