Jolyon Palmer is not worried by the threat posed to his Renault seat by reigning GP3 champion Esteban Ocon.Renault reserve driver Ocon spent two days in the class-leading Mercedes W07 at the Silverstone tests this week and is targeting a full-time F1 drive next year. Though he is contracted to Mercedes in a development role a race drive there looks unlikely, meaning the Frenchman has been linked with full-time a drive at Renault.Palmer drove for Renault on Wednesday while Ocon was in the Mercedes but the Englishman insisted he is only focused on doing his own job.Speaking during Wednesdays test, he said: I dont really care what [he did], hes in the Mercedes which is a different league to what were doing. So Im not worried by Esteban anyway, I know him well and hes a member of the team. So Im not worried about my seat, with him, I just focus on what Im doing.Palmer, who is still yet to finish in the top ten in his rookie campaign, thinks he will be in a better position to show what he can do if he help get Renault back into the points.To be honest I just focus on getting the car better because I think if we can improve the car then I think theres a better chance to show what I can do.
