导出博客文章Esteban Gutierrez has downplayed the incident which saw him being held back by
Haas boss Guenther Steiner after retiring from the Brazilian Grand
Prix.Gutierrez still has no points next to his name this season after a
suspected electrical failure ended his race at Interlagos at a time when the
extreme wet raised possibilities of a strong result. The Mexican driver, set to
leave Haas at the end of the year, threw his gloves at a wall in the garage
after his retirement.Shortly afterwards, Gutierrez was shown on the TV feed
pushing Steiner away as the team principal tried to calm him down. Gutierrez
insisted his it was just a case of emotions getting the better of him and
dismissed any notion of a rift with Steiner.I was very angry about the
situation, Gutierrez told F1i. But I was not angry at anyone, it was just the
wrong timing and afterwards we were laughing with each other just about the
moment. It looked like there was something going on but not necessarily.I dont
think its fair to blame anyone at the moment because we dont know exactly what
the problem is. There was an electrical issue and again we missed another
opportunity.Im angry at the situation because its been like this very often in
the year. Its not a very nice place to be but we move on, I will never give
up.The Brazilian GP weekend saw Haas confirm Kevin Magnussen alongside Romain
Grosjean for 2017. Gutierrez was later reported as saying it was unfair Haas had
opted against retaining him for another season. His remaining options on the
grid are Manor or former team Sauber.
