  thinks Mercedes may be holding back its true pace in the early stages of the
  U.S. Grand Prix weekend.Ricciardo split the Mercedes drivers in the afternoon
  session, finishing just 0.194s off Nico Rosbergs benchmark time. The team also
  looked strong over its long run pace but Ricciardo thinks the team can only
  focus on itself at this stage.I am happy, it was a good day. Ricciardo said
  after FP2. This morning was solid, and the long run pace was good. And then we
  continued on this afternoon, made a few changes in between the two sessions, and
  we look pretty good for now. So hopefully we stay like that, and we should have
  a good race on Sunday if that is the case.Ricciardo is certain Red Bull can be a
  contender if it can keep up its early pace but he is wary of Mercedes trick of
  turning up its engine as the weekend progresses.You can definitely overtake
  here, which is good. If we have the pace we have today against the Mercedes on
  Sunday, then it is going to be a fun race. We will have some overtaking ahead of
  us. Lets see, I am not sure where they are with engines and how conservative
  they are running. Today we looked good; we will see what happens over the next
  48 hours.Ive said it before - it is Friday, but it is nice to have a good
  Friday. Its nice to start the weekend on the right foot. I dont think we will
