American Coradius keeps calling me at work for a PayPal debt

  I owe a PayPal Credit balance that went to collections with American Coradius. I get that I owe something and I'm not trying to dodge it. The problem is how they're going about it.
  
  
  
  

  They started calling my cell multiple times a day. I told them to stop calling my job because my manager already pulled me aside about it. That worked for about a week and then the calls started again. Last time I answered, the guy got loud with me and started throwing around words like garnishment. It felt like he was just trying to scare me into paying right there on the spot.
  
  
  
  

  I never got a proper letter explaining the debt either, just a settlement offer that was confusing about what I would actually still owe after paying. When I asked questions they talked over me. I'm honestly not even sure the amount is right because of how PayPal Credit interest works.
  
  
  
  

  Anyone else deal with these people? Did a cease and desist letter actually stop the calls or did they find a loophole? I don't want to pay a lawyer if I don't have to but I'm running out of patience.
