Overview

BodyFuture was established by South Africa's own Mr Universe, Trevor Van Schalkwyk, who has developed a wellness program specialising in weight loss and weight management. The programs incorporate personal training, nutrition and facilitation over a six week period and focus on lifestyle change. Body Future also has a holistic arm and offersAshtanga Yoga, Pilates, Detox footspa and massage therapy. New and exciting are our BoFu Swiss ball and BoFu kickbox.

BodyFuture also offers a healthy personalized lifestyle packages where you have the opportunity to create your own program by combining any of our classes/services with our new product range which includes protein shakes, protein bars and supplements!

Personal training

At Body Future each client has their own qualified and experienced Personal Trainer. Personal Trainer's stay with the Client for the duration of the Weight Management, Sports Specific or Lifestyle maintenance program he or she choses. The Client is matched to personal trainer according to his or her requirement. While personal trainers all hold the same qualification they have varying experience which means the Body Future team can ensure that the Client benefits according to their specific needs.

Facilitation

Facilitation is vital part of what we at Body Future offer. During the seven week programme the Client has one facilitation session per week during which the facilitator equips the Client with the correct tools and information to help them achieve their goal. The Client is given a full assessment where weight, measurements and body fat are taken and guidelines are then given. A Client's facilitator will invariably be their Personal Trainer unless the Client is female in which case a female Personal Trainer will take measurements, weigh in and the Trainer will then take over. It is through the facilitation and assessment process that we are able to monitor a Client's progress and address any problems that may arise or queries that the Client may have with immediacy.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a series of hatha yoga postures (asanas) connected through dynamic movement (vinyasa) and breath.
The classes are suitable for beginners as well as experienced students wanting a gentle, meditative practice. Each student progresses at their own pace, gradually working towards the more physically challenging full Ashtanga practice.

Pilates

With an emphasis on breath, core conditioning and body awareness, PILATES exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. Performed on a mat or specialized equipment, PILATES is a fitness regime for a lifetime. The perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab and life, PILATES exercises will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease.

BoFu Kickbox and BoFu Swissball

Our classes are small and personalized and while BoFu Kickbox offers a vigorous workout targeting such areas as "buns and thighs", BoFu Swissball works primarily on the core and tones and strengthens.
