Halfway through the second, the Oilers made it a 2-0 game as Eberles wrister from the slot found the back of the net for his seventh goal of the season. Calgary got one back with 1:59 to play in the second with a power play marker after Colborne whipped it into the net from the right side. At 4:28 of the third, the Flames tied the game off a rebound goal from Bouma, but Ference gave his team the lead back five minutes later thanks to a big blast from the left point. Colborne, though, tied the game once again with 8:05 to play in regulation as Sean Monahan threw the puck on net from the slot and Colborne was in front to put home the rebound.
