The Los Angeles Dodgers continued the re-shuffling of their infield, sending shortstop/second baseman Dee Gordon to the Miami Marlins for pitcher Andrew Heaney, according to reports.

Originally the Dodgers’ shortstop, Gordon was shifted to second base after the team acquired Hanley Ramirez in a trade. Heaney made his debut this season for Miami, going 0-3 with a 5.83 ERA in seven games, five of them starts. The 23-year-old was the Marlins’ first round selection (ninth overall) in the 2012 Draft. Baseball America had Heaney listed as Miami’s top-ranked prospect in 2014.
