Its a day-to-day thing, but hes not going to go today, so I would imagine if hes not going to go in the next couple of days, hes not going to be ready to play on Sunday. ?Hyde suffered a right shoulder injury in the third quarter of last weeks 45-16 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He briefly returned to that game after the injury but ended up heading to the locker room before the game was over.When the 49ers practiced on Tuesday, Hyde was seen wearing a sling on his shoulder, and he was wearing it again on Wednesday morning as he made his way to the weight room while the Niners began practice. If the Niners opt to hold Hyde out, he would get an extra week of rest with the team on a bye week after Sundays game.Through the first six weeks, Hyde is 11th in the NFL in rushing (429 yards) and his six rushing touchdowns are tied for second most in the league.When Hyde departed last weeks game, it was Mike Davis who took the bulk of the work, though the 49ers rotated Shaun Draughn in as well. Kelly said Wednesday that a rotation would probably be the most likely option this week, adding that DuJuan Harris could get promoted from the practice squad to be part of it.The trio of Davis, Draughn and Harris filled in when Hyde missed nine games last season because of a foot injury. That group combined to average just 3.34 yards per carry on 138 attempts with one touchdown in place of Hyde.Davis and Draughn have worked as the backups to Hyde this season, combining for 73 yards on 36 carries.
